About Us

It all started when two fashion design executives, & career-long friends, bought properties in the Hudson River Valley. As creatives do, they began curating home and garden goods to decorate their new properties. This led to working with artisans near and far to create beautiful, useful goods they couldn’t easily find in the marketplace.

After finding that the pieces, and how they were styled, resonated with their friends, they knew they needed to go public with the products they were curating and creating and provide services to help others realize their own beautiful home goals.

A nod to the past and a view towards the future, combined with a love for the outdoors, both wild and tamed, is what shapes Hortus Home’s aesthetic.
